Lesson Six
Plants are capable of living in all different types of environments.  Examples of these
environments include: forests, deserts, and ponds.
To help you better understand plant science and uncover many of the mysteries
of plant life, we suggest clicking on the tree!

Activity:

As students, you should be able to correctly design either a forest, desert, or pond from the images below.  You should also be able to describe the environment that you have created.  To accompany this project, you should also be able to write a story starting with "If I were a plant, I would live..." and explain why.

You should be able to identify each different location and the plants that live in the location.

Even though no location is better than the rest, different types of plants live in location where there needs are met.

Development:

There are several suggested readings to accompany this lesson. They are:

Cactus Hotel, Trees and Forests, and In the Pond

 Summary:

You can read your stories aloud, share your projects with the class, and have a discussion about the three environments.
